Anything better or cheaper than orban optimods
I asked people to recommend me compressors and sunch but their saying the orban optimods are the greatest. I want something for like $50 if that or software, honestly. I just hate the clipping, but need my audio LOUD.

I don't know if I'd use both, maybe some stuff from one and other stuff from the other, but honestly I think either or is probably the best way to go with this

Your weak point will continue to be your transmitter until you're able to upgrade it to something that'll take an MPX signal. Once you have that, you can use and outboard processor (either hardware or software) and you'll have a greater degree of control over your audio.
This is the fatal flaw of all of the Chinese transmitters or anything else in which the audio section of the device can't be bypassed.
So would building my own be better?
Unless you're confident soldering, save your pennies for something more substantial.
When you buy, they send a unique code to unlock, so no I can't share.
You can download the full version to test out though to see if you like it. There is an interruption every half hour, but it's otherwise the full deal.
