A studio necessity I had rolled with for many moons was the first pictured VocoPro unit; a digital key controller which
was sold to me by Alex. For reasons orbiting an autistic taste in extreme metal music, I've had an affinity for pitch
shifters for as long as I've been a studio-preoccupied person, so it was really the heart of my liberated studio
movements for the excess of a year, the ability to kick up or down the pitch of an audio stream. Well, I was bummed when my
workhorse unit seemed to peter out - the audio stream not being altered when the effect was presumably engaged.
So, I seized the oportunity eventually to do what I'd wanted to do for some time, which was to secure more of
this specific type of equipment piece.. and having ordered two similar examples, I have reason to believe that
they're all disfuctional as the patching verifications I made were meticulous. But maybe it has something to do
with silly normalling on the part of my Neutrik patchbays, why my audio seems to not go effected when run through each
of these pictured articles.
