Hannah Cox is a YouTube / Facebook politics / current events personality who really is a mixed bag when it comes to telegraphed identity; very provocative at least to me, I suspect the reason for her exceptional objectionability is how she presents her opinions as factual or non-negotiable, a style assumed by so many in the present climate especially on the left. Her similarity to my cousins in age/demeanor is a personal string which elevates perhaps my compulsion to engage, as these family members are unengageable. I was initially exposed to Hannah through a video recommendation for 'Boy Moms', a phenomenon I was unaware of at that time (April 2024). Initially, her video was entertaining - I wanted to like her as she did possess an element of charisma, but this quickly dissapated whenever she'd tout these objectively wrong truth distortions and uncalled for demonizations of my sex as truths; I recall being overcome with frustration when the progression of the video revolved around female slightedness and contempt for their mothers for something as innocuous as obliging their male child in not expressly necessary labors, like the affectionate cooking. My opinion is, as a male only child to a single mother, that mothers of all people understand the falterances of their offspring, especially the male ones as the relationship is simple, not convoluted by the feminine competitions between mother and daughter and not hidden well in the character assassination piece in question. The females in the superficial chairs of authority feel it so odd that unconditional love of an oafish microcosm of your husband, whom you've certainly discovered to be clumsy, permits the forgiveness of deficits of innocuous enough severity - the petty competitive streak that evidently doesn't die with the emergence from the coocoon is so predictable from these insulated, societally value-affixed and abstract thought-impotent women.
