The theme of the previous week has very much been in line with the concept of losing hard work and wishing there were provisions present to safegaurd the lost data; it goes without my confession here that I hadn't (really) been paying much mind to the idea that my materials were compromised when I'd lost them on the 2nd of this month. And just yesterday (the 8th) I had endured yet another negligence-borne erasure of personal elbowgrease; this time a small notepad document that I was able to rewrite upon realizing I'd unwittingly deleted it when playing a fools game of moving and deleting directory contents. I immediately thought about the NVR I have contained in a rack and its missed utility for capturing onscreen materials - surely a unit with High Definition recording is far superior for obvious reasons, but the standard definition could go far as well.
