The color coding of the percentages that a power conditioner or any powered device is
important in the precaution to prevent outlet/circuit overloading. If two >50% load cap
devices are plugged into the same receptacle, its certain that some overage is
occuring. Additionally, metrics like "75%' are useful as it may be easy to neglect the
tolerances of 15A outlets when the breaker itself can support 20A; therefore the 75%
threshold (or more responsibly 70%) would signal, in relation to 20A breakers, a likely
overloading of an outlet on its circuit.
